Registered Massage Therapy
Registered massage therapy is a hands-on approach to treating the body's soft tissues, combining traditional and modern techniques to address musculoskeletal conditions.
It helps improve muscle function, reduce inflammation, relieve spasms, and boost circulation, promoting relaxation and overall well-being.
Bowenwork
The Bowen Technique, developed by Tom Bowen in Australia, is a gentle, hands-on therapy that stimulates the body's natural healing processes through subtle movements on muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Often described as the "homeopathy of bodywork," it helps relieve acute and chronic conditions by restoring balance to the autonomic nervous system (ANS), shifting the body from stress mode to a state of relaxation and healing.
Bowen therapy is holistic and suitable for people of all ages and health conditions. It addresses the whole body rather than just isolated symptoms. Sessions typically last 15 to 45 minutes and involve gentle, precise moves with pauses to allow the body to respond. The therapy can be performed over light clothing and promotes deep relaxation, often reactivating stalled healing processes from trauma, illness, or surgery.
Oncology Massage
Oncology massage is a specialized form of therapeutic massage designed to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment or recovery. It is tailored to accommodate the unique needs and medical considerations of people affected by cancer, with a focus on comfort, relaxation, and symptom relief.
This gentle, adaptive approach helps manage pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, and ease treatment side effects such as fatigue, nausea, and lymphedema. Oncology massage is always provided with careful modifications to ensure safety and well-being, making it a supportive therapy for individuals at any stage of their cancer journey.
Post surgical breast/chest surgery
Post-surgical breast/chest massage is a specialized therapy designed to support healing, improve mobility, and reduce discomfort following breast or chest surgeries. This includes procedures such as mastectomy, lumpectomy, reconstruction, augmentation, reduction, gender-affirming surgeries, and other related interventions.
The treatment focuses on promoting healthy scar tissue formation, reducing swelling, easing pain and tightness, and restoring movement. Gentle, therapeutic techniques help enhance circulation, soften adhesions, and support overall recovery, providing a safe and effective approach to healing after surgery.
